Step back in time to the 70’s and 80’s strolling through the jungle, over hilltops and water line on horseback admiring our green lush jungle and white sandy beaches while feeling the abundance of space, clean air, natural clean energy, and breath taking ocean views. You will be exploring some the countryside of the island on one Roatan’s iconic horseback riding along with expert riders and enjoying some the island’s most beautiful scenery.
You will start out from your cruise terminal with a small city tour while making your way out to the ranch where you will meet your guide to receive your safety orientation briefing before heading out on narrow trails into the jungle on horseback.
Your guide will be pointing out many different types of medicinal plants and trees used by the locals as well much indigenous wildlife native to the island. There will be many great viewpoints to photograph while experiencing the flora and fauna on horseback.
After your horseback adventure, you will head over to the zip line where you will be making your first jump zipping through and over the green lush jungle of the island and admiring blue ocean views from high above. You will be thrilled on an exhilarating adventure, while zipping, gliding, and doing different flips over the tree lines with nice panoramic 360-degree views. Your zip line is composed of 16 lines and 24 platforms with 3 suspended bridges with private guides to assist.
Following your zip line adventure, you will head over to the monkeys, sloths, and bird Sanctuary Park, for you to play, pet, hold, and photograph the animals before boarding your boat to go out snorkeling. You will spend 45 minutes to an hour in the water discovering the underwater wildlife of the world’s second largest reef of colorful coral, and fish and anything else that happens to swim by.
After your horseback, zip line adventure, animal holding, and snorkeling adventure, if you are in the mood you can stop at a local restaurant for a nice mouth-watering lunch or visit one the private beach resort to enjoy their private facility and beach area before heading back to your ship.
